Welcome to the official Texas Wagyu Association (TWA) website!

The TWA was formed May 30, 2009. The Association is growing monthly and has members from across the USA and in Australia. Our goal is to promote and assist in the sustainable development of the Wagyu breed in conjunction with the American Wagyu Association.

It is time to get your lots nominated for the 2012 sale. You should have received corespondence from our sale manager, Schacher Auction Services. That correspondence is posted below as "Updated Letter." You may download the nomination form.

Houston Livestock Show, March 2012
The Texas Wagyu Association is proud to announce that our breed has been accepted to show at the Houston Livestock Show March 5, 6 and 7 of 2012. Earlier this year the AWA was successful in getting the Wagyu breed into the Denver national show. Now the breed will also be in the Houston show.......two huge firsts for our breed.
This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase our cattle and we need a good representation in both shows.

Annual TWA meeting will be held Friday, April 13, 2012, the day before our 3rd annual sale.

PX Feeders is accepting bulls for the TWA test October 15th. The actual test will start December 1st and will end April 1, 2012. To be eligible for this test the bulls must be born Dec. 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011. When you deliver your bulls you will need to provide a list of the bulls' tag number, date of birth, and the registration number of the sire and dam of the calf. Please call Donald Parrish @ 254-679-1200 to let him know when you will be delivering your bulls.

Another test is scheduled for arrival on Jan. 15, 2012. for calves born April 1, 2011 through July 31, 2011.
